The painting called "Scream"

The painting called "Scream" gives a lot of thoughts and different colours. I am not sure what the painter wants to say, but to me those colours talks a lot and my knowledge in a way that helps re-examine my thoughts, feelings, and reasons.

First of all, I see a woman; I think it is she, screaming out loud with worries on her face. I seem to me that she is looking for her children in her attempt to prevent them from imminent danger out there. Behind that image, I see two people walking in ease and it seems like the woman is nothing to do with them. That image gives me a message that the ego and selfishness exist in our human beings. Yes, this silent message is quiet, but ugly for the development of our human beings. Why they are not worried about that woman? What makes them to be different from that woman? I rack my brain and still I cannot understand. Is that a part of our world that we need to understand? Anyway, that woman needs help!

Last night was ugly as I was thinking about those men ignoring the woman screaming out loud until I sleep. I am sure our world is still ugly. And I look at the painting again and I see the bridge crossing the river. For some, that bridge is used to go to overcome their day to day struggles, and for some people that bridge is used to cross the river so they can get onto another side. But for some that bridge is used for a walk. One common thing about the bridge is it is for the use. The bridge does not care how people use it, but it gives safety to the people from the danger of the rapid river. Beyond the bridge there is a wild world with the red sky posing like the danger is imminent. However, I also see the combination of the richness of the river, peace that the river brings, and danger with the magical world that threaten life of human being. The woman, two men, the bridge, help me a kind of understand the world I live in.

For that reason, I carefully look at the painting and try to interpret the meanings of the painting that the painter wants us to know about. I see two little boats in the middle of the river. The sky above them is red, very red, and it is like the danger from a possible storm is coming for them. So, why they are doing out there? They must be fishing on the risk of their life. The danger or their survival. Then I question like do we needs storms on our earth. I say no and I automatically hate them . Examine your reasoning and thinking, I remind myself. Oh yes, we, the world, need those storms that threatened human beings and helped people creates ideas and inventions. If anything, bad weathers and all bad experiences that human encountered somehow helped humans not only prevent themselves, but also develop their safety life. If there are no storms or bad weathers, then we will find our human history differently. Storms are part of the world we live in and we just need to find a way to prevent ourselves from them. The storms are beauties of the world. Aren't they? Great thinking, I say to myself and I am satisfied.

It is the painting, but it involves ideas, thoughts, and feelings. It gives a message that we are the world and should be the world and injustices anywhere is a threat to justices everywhere. We need to find a way to help the woman to have a better life and be able to avoid the similar situation.
